God’s love covers a multitude of sins this is a phrase that many are familiar with. God loves us despite our failings. I wrestle with sin. I stumble, I fall flat on my face I keep sliding and slipping. Yet Jesus keeps loving me, despite all of my failings. God’s love is a powerful thing. He seeks to redeem me of my sin. yet he also seeks to convict me of my sins. When I see how much God loves me I am humbled. I am not worth of God’s love or his mercy, yet said mercy is given to me freely. When I see what God offers I am humbled. God seeks tobreak me free of the sin that I have struggled with and in his love I will be free.
Romans 8:31 promises that no one can stand against us, when God is with us. God will rise to meet me in all things that I do. When God sees me struggling he gives me the strength to fight my battles and to overcome the enemy. God is my strength, he is my heavenly father. God sent his son to die for me and that love calls me to lean onto him. Jesus loves me and his blood washes me clean.
So when I struggle I look to God as my strength he is my reedemer and my deliverer. In him I will be freed from sin.
