God’s grace is often beyond our comprehension. We are incapable of following God’s commands perfectly. We fall short of his glory constantly even as we try to be like more like Christ (Rom 3:23). Yet God has offered us salvation in his grace (Eph 2:8-9). Jesus preached that salvation was offered to us by the grace of God steming through his love (John 1:14,16,17). God’s love for us means that he offers us grace that we don’t deserve. Jesus died so that the price of sin would be paid so when we confess faith in him. God also is there for us whenever we stumble.
I wrestle with my sin and sometimes I feel unworthy of God’s love. I feel frustrated with constantly falling short and werestling with sin. I would fight my sinful desires and honestly seek to overcome sin but in my own strength I always fall short, and my sin would weigh me down. the enemy wants to hold my sin over me. But God reminds me that in Christ there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1). In Christ I live in the Spirit of grace. My flesh wants me to remain in guilt or to embrace my sin. The Holy Spirit seals me in God’s grace and convicts me to be accountable and confess my sins. I m free in Christ, as is everyone who confesess him as Lord.
So remember that ypu are free in Christ. His grace washes sin from ypu and frees you from it’s chains.
