I have finished my first week of work, my job is with my local news paper who have begun expanding into podcasts and nws shows. I have been hired to aid the media department. My first week has had variaty but it is also tiring. I know know the exhaustion that can come at the end of a difficult work week. As I have started this job I am learning how to navigate a work wnviorment. Especially one which doesn’t always have a set routine . The rigors of the job are potentially taxing and I have come home exhausted on more than one occasion. Faced with this challenge I am learning to rely on God for the strength to carry me through the day and I am learning the value of relying on God through the day and for longer term decisions as I look ahead to the future.
My fall back verse when faced with difficultes such as adpting to a new job is, Philippeans 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me “. This verse has been an encouragement for me for years As I begin a new job I am clinging to this verse. For God is the source of my strength and he will sustain me in this new season of my life. The mountain of a new chapter is his, and he will gve me the strength to climb it. God wants us to rely on him for sustenance. He will fill us with peace when as life unfolds. God is my sustainer and m redeemer and he will walk with me in this time.
