Sometimes God brings change and opens doors that you’re unsure about. Change can be scary, commitments can feel overwhelming, you question your ability to commit, you wonder if you will be stuck in something you either wont be satisfied with or that you might regret. You wonder if you are on the right path and it is easy to become distressed and discouraged. In these times it is important to keep an eye on God. God provides peace and he calls us to trust in him and to remember that he will provide and guide us through life. Sometimes God calls us to a specific task, sometimes he lets us go through the doors that he opens and asks us to keep or eyes on him.
God has opened new oppertunities for me, and I have been feeling nervous about some of them. I am trying to discern whether or not to through these doors. When I look to the future I am sometimes scared. But in those moments the Lord is my comforter and my strength. He will keep me in peace as long as I keep my mind and my eyes on him (Isa 26:3). God will provide I just have to to trust him. I will go into these opportunities trusting God that he will provide my fututre according to Jerimiah 29:11. Remember that when life is overwhelming God brings peace and quiet to chaos. Keep you eyes on God and remember that he loves you and that he will sustain you.
