When we give our lives to Christ, we receive a new identity in Christ. Our new identity is built on the foundation of Christ’s resurrection. God calls us to be his children and to receive the blessings of his love. When God calls us the World never defines us agian. My identity is in Christ and I can be at peace i knowing that he will take care of ne and guide me into his will and I know he will provide for me. When we truly understand that Our identity is in Christ then we will realize that we need not worry about anything. God will provide for us as his children. We are a new creation in Christ and in him we are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We also do not need to be concerned with trying to constantly worry about perfectly living up to God’s standards. God is constantly shaping us to be more like him. God builds towers in us and builds foundations through us. May we never take God’s love for granted. May we always be proud an bold in our idetity as children of God. May we remember that God makes us new. We are God’s children and the World no longer owns us.
