As 2025 comes to a close, I look back on the year and all that God has done. At the beginning of the year I struggled with depression and really struggled with questions about purpose and what the future holds. God used this time to teach me the value of faith, and to trust him even in the most difficult times. I started an internship and through it God showed me the value of time management. that internship ended earlier than expected. I have since struggled to find a job, through it all God has taught me to rely on him. God has used this year to refine my faith and to show me the need to rely on him. Philippians 4:
God is faithful and he will honor his promises to me. I know that God will provide a stable job. As God has shaped my faith, I have overcome my depression and have learned to not be anxious about the future. Rather than 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all of our worries onto God. As I have learned to cast my concerns onto God, I have been filled with a profound sense of peace. I know now that God will always care for me.
So if you are concerned about the future, remember that God is faithful. In this New Year let us look forward to what God has. I am exited to see what he has planned after a year of refinement. whether he continues refining me or begins fulfilling his promises, I am looking forward to his work in my life.
