Fear is one of the easiest ways for the enemy to use against us. Our fears are the biggest mountains that we can make for ourselves. Satan lets us be our own gratest enemy. In my case I have a tendency to dwell in my concerns and fears, especially in this current season of not having a job it is easy for me to think about the decisions that I have made and to regret some of them. I can be frustrated with my situation. It’s hard to see past my current circumstances, I can only see my circumstances through my own limited perspective. I need to remember that God always has my best interests in mind. The best way to combat fear is to find put my faith in God.
Faith is the trust in things that have been promised. God calls us to faith in him and in his works in our lives. The Bible is full examples of God’s faithfulness, God cares for us in all things and he wants to give us the peace that comes through knowing him. God does not always act on our timing, but he works all things to our benefit and he wants us to walk in the peace and knowledge that he will guide our steps. When I feel fear I can put my trust in God and know that his blessings will come in time. So put your faith in God and look to him when your fears try to drag you into dispair. Find your hope in God and you will know thw peace that he brings.
