Hearing God’s voice

I’m learning to hear God’s voice for wisdom and put my faith in him. I am learning to take time out of my day to pay attention to God. I am learning to boldly come before God in my prayers and I am learning to seek his voice and his will. I am seekng to explore the interests that God has placed in my heart. As I look to these options I am praying for God’s direction and his guidance and his peace. I want to do God’s will, and I want to live for him. I want to aling my will to God’s Sometimes I feel that I am groping in the dark looking for the right path. I am reminded of Acts 27: 1-24. Here Paul and Luke are brought to Rome aboard a boat to Rome. The journey goes wrong and soon they are adrift in a storm.

Despite this Paul remains steadfast in his faith in God, he received a calling to go to Rome and was assured of God’s providence in the midst of the storms. (Acts 27:24-25). God brought them through the storm. He was faithful to Paul and the sailors and he will be faithful to me in all his promises. He will help me to hear his voice and learn whether to stay in my current path or not. Most importantly he will keep his promises to me
