Passion Week

This week is Passion Week. This week we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, hs final week on Earth and his crucifixion and resurrection. In my devotional this week, I have been reading several verses that discuss the passion week. Today’s entry was Isaiah 53. This was a great prophecy which predicted Jesus’s suffering on the cross. The death and resurrection of Jesus is the culmination of the Bible. We are able to directly engage in relationship with God because of Jesus sacrifice and his resurrection. Jesus conquered the ultimate mountain in life, death. Because Jesus conquered death we can be assured of his faithfulness to us in facing life’s challenges, he helps us climb life’s mountains.
